Symptoms of a Drug Prescription

Hi and welcome to our site!

We are Nikki and Anne Heart, a daughter and mother writing team, and the creators of Symptoms of a Drug Prescription.

Let’s be truthful. We are not tech savvy, so making this site to share our journey has been truly hair wrenching. But here we are. And we know it’s worth it.

Come share our journey, if YOU:

  • Feel something is wrong with your health care treatment.
  • Can’t find the correct information for your health care.
  • Know that your overall wellness isn’t improving, but no one will listen to you.
  • Want help, but the normal help isn’t working for you.

Throughout our journey, you will find helpful information.

Symptoms of a Drug Prescription is filled with invaluable information – tips and resources – that we have gathered throughout the years of our journey.

We’re two people, a mother and daughter, who actually lived through a prescription drug treatment plan — just ordinary people like you.

We’ve struggled for years from an inadequate treatment plan and incorrect information.

We don’t sugar coat anything. We openly tell you about the painful side effects from misleading medical information and prescription drugs.

Our goal is not to give you a sob story, but to give you the information you need.

You will find real tips based on real life experience.

We strive to give you the knowledge, the awareness, and the recognition needed to find your correct wellness path – the information we did not have.

So, why read what we have to say?

We know firsthand how difficult the health care system can be.

We lived through it and still with it.

Nikki was put on prescription drugs her first year of college for depression. No one listened to the years of pain she went through. Always giving us false hope and inaccurate information. Making promises that Nikki would be a “quick fix.”

We truly understand how loneliness feels. When you reach out for help, and no one hears you. When you try to explain something just isn’t right with your treatment plan, but no one believes you.

♥ WELCOME ♥

Hi, I'm Nikki and my mom is Anne

We write so YOU can have the information I did not have.

In 2010, during my first year of college, I desperately reached out for help with my depression.  With no blood test nor any other type of testing done, the health care provider stated “I had a chemical imbalance causing my depression.” It was at this time I was prescribed my first drug.

After seven years, nineteen drugs, two supplements, four doctors, one nurse practioner, and all the false hope I was given, I decided to take charge of my own life.

“It took me years to realize I needed to take charge of my own health care plan. Through my journey, you can learn how to take charge of your own well-being.”

Nikki, age thirty-one

“Unfortunately, I had blinded trust for years in the health care my daughter was getting. You can learn from my journey how to help a loved one.”

Anne, age sixty-three

We know everyone is different. But unfortunately, a prescription drug treatment plan doesn’t always recognize this.

While there is a place for prescription medication, the need to be knowledgeable and ask questions is extremely important.

Unfortunately, there are…

  • No quick fixes
  • No miracle cures
  • And we recognize living a happier and lifestyle my take a lifelong commitment.

There are always things to learn, and we share in our weekly posts new insights into what we have found.

We have spent over ten years, researching information to offer you these insights. Insights so your journey to wellness can be successful. That you don’t have the negative pitfalls we did. That you can lead the lifestyle you want to and can.

Overall, is our information for you?

Whether you are currently or considering prescription drugs as part of your health care plan, our posts are for you.

Whether you have been diagnosed with mental illness, depression, bipolar disorder, negative thinking, obsessive compulsive disorder, etc. or no diagnosis at all, our posts are for you.

If you continue to feel unwell no matter what you do, you’re in the right spot.

If you long for wellness and lost all hope, join us on our journey.

Thanks for visiting our site. We won't disappoint you.
